Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Well done you!! Fantastic Job!! Gold Stars all round :-D :-D

Now - What are you wearing for graduation? ? :-D
- By Astarte Date 05.06.08 19:45 UTC
er... aside from the bat cape and hood (in very attractive blue and gold!) i dunno. i've decided that wedge shoes seem sensible- flats are to dull but proper heels will be difficult for crossing the stage and getting "capped", i just know i'd fall over lol. probably just a skirt and a shirt to be honest, its what the uni reccommend. liams is in 2 weeks (he's at a different uni) and he's wearing the full kilt etc, i'll be struggling not to jump him :)
- By Dakkobear [gb] Date 05.06.08 19:51 UTC
I got a longer length gown when I graduated and it looked really good, I'm 5ft 8", the standard length would have been lucky to reach my knees, this one went mid calf :-) . Fortunately we didn't have to wear caps :-D
- By Lori Date 05.06.08 19:55 UTC

WELL DONE to you both, all that hard work has paid off....:):)
- By Nova Date 06.06.08 08:42 UTC
Very well done, after achieving so much under difficult circumstances the world is at your feet, nothing should stop you both now, good luck with whatever you decide to do, more studies, working or may be a short break to catch you breath.
- By gembo [gb] Date 06.06.08 10:08 UTC
My boy tells me a Bsc is a real degree and a sign of real intelligence unlike a BA...what do I know just great news....... that's a bit unfair, I've got a BA & know lots of very very intelligent people who too have one!!! BSC is mainly realted to the traditional science degrees, which are generally regarded as harder!!!

Anyway...CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU MUST HAVE WORKED VERY HARD & YOU SHOULD BOTH BE VERY VERY PROUD!

Make sure you get the token photo shot at your graduation of tossing the caps in the air....classic!

Dare I ask what your plans are for the future?
- By Dogz Date 06.06.08 11:57 UTC
Apologies Gembo...it was tongue in cheek as his gf was doing an arts degree.
Personally I left school at 15, so applaud you for your BA and any one else who works and studies so long and hard.

Karen :)
- By Astarte Date 06.06.08 12:16 UTC
thats the plan for next year. trying to reduce some debt this year, boo!
- By Astarte Date 06.06.08 12:19 UTC
plans...well working for this year and trying to adjust to adult life of living with partner, having a dog etc... hopefully start learning french as the pie in the sky dream is to end up working for the UN and i need french and english. apply for lots of post grads in human rights law and after that depends on what uni;s take me!
- By Perry Date 06.06.08 13:29 UTC

- By Astarte Date 08.06.08 14:44 UTC
the school accademic year in england is later than ours (schools off in june back in august) so i don't know if maybe the uni's run differently as well? dundee uni and abertay both have all their results back now though, the others are usually back to. weird. poor him, i was going nuts by last week!
- By Astarte Date 08.06.08 14:45 UTC
thanks very much :) kinda sorta sunk in now ish... till i realised graduations really soon!
