Only used those once before, I use Litterlac and find it very good.

Litterlac for me too the best IMO

Couldnt say for puppies, but my bitches have both preferred Lactol.

have always used whelpi and found it very good for puppies if needed but use it mainly for my bitches when lactating as it helps get condition back and encourages milk production too so good if you have a large litter

Thats who i really need it for, the bitch but want to have some in just incase its needed.

Wouldn't use Lactol. The fact that it is meant for dogs AND cats says a lot- despite bitch's and queen's milk not being the same. Hence Cimicat for kittens and Whelpi for pups for me. :)

yes thats what i always do, have it for the bitch throughout lactation and then its there if i need it for puppies. i agree that lactol being suitable for cats and dogs sends alarm bells for me as kittens and puppies have different requirements. my bitches have always got back to good condition very quickly on whelpi. good luck :)
