I am not sure if this is normal or not, as I have never noticed it before, and my other bitch doesnt have it.

Just below Casie's navel, she has two pea sized lumps.  It isnt the navel.  Her skin has also darkened, to the point she looks like she has been in a huge fight!  All black and blue. 

There is no tenderness, and she doesnt appear sick in any way (activity level, normal  Drinking normal, eating normal for Casie, bathroom habits normal.)

I am just not sure if these bumps, and skin changes are normal.

My aunt, who has bred dobes for a lot of years, couldnt even think of what it may be.  She had a feel of it yesterday, and shrugged her shoulders.

Any advice on what it may be?  What I should do?

Hope Casie's ok? lillie had a little lump come up and it turned purple but as you know it was due to her allergies,  the vets gave her anti biotics because it had pus coming out, but apart from that ive not come across anything like that before.

it's probably nothign  but your maybe best getting it looked at anyway, sounds a bit weird

Casie is going in for her jabs on Thursday, and we already let the office know that we are wanting to have her stomach checked out with these lumps.  Its so off, I am not sure what they are. 

Heres hoping for good news, as I read about hernias, and I hope this isnt one!

not had any experience of hernias and while the description you gave sounds like it might look ike them i;d image she;d be showing discomfort- i understand they are pretty sore!. hopefully just something silly that gets sorted quick though, keep us posted!

Well, Cas was at the vets today. 

Looks like she has Mamoramy (sp?) cysts.  The vet said to watch it, and if they get any bigger, then we should have them removed.  Right now, they arent affecting the way she is walking, or anything like that. 

Boggled in the brain right now, kinda wondering what to do, whether her show career was worth it, etc.  I must admit, I dont know much about these type of cysts, and will be doing research on them
