Steph, yes you can, though its cheaper to ask the butcher for the saw sust. But it should only be used to correct the calcium/phosphorus balance if you are feeding meat, not as a supplement.

I wouldnt advise using bonemeal, use a good quality complete food, with all the nutrients needed, rather than supplement.
