I've just rushed him to the emergency vet as he's gone yellow on his belly and gums and eyes. He's been ill all week not eating and he saw our vet yesterday but wasn't yellow then but has since turned yellow. They are doing some tests now but more in depth bloods can't be done until tomorrow as they have to be sent off. I'm worried sick for him.

I am sorry to hear this but I am unable to help, sounds like a liver problem but until you have a positive diagnoses we can't even comment really, just cross our fingers or pray for you and hope you get good news soon.

Just got a call they have done all the etsts they can do there and it shows it's definately his liver but they have to send his blood off to find out what exactly is causing the problem. I won't know until wednesday. In the meantime he has to stay there. I don't know what I'm gonna do if I lose him.

I know how you feel and I think at the moment you should hold on to the positive, there may be no reason to be feeling as you are. Try to wait till you are given some more definite news before you start to panic or feel relief and for now try to relax.
