Be prepared for any eventuality!!!!! My first litter was a nightmare. My girl took 12 hours to have 7 pups, one still born half way through and my other half having to race to the vets at 11.30pm on a sunday night for oxytocin to help her along. My 2nd litter i was ready for anything.I had the car all set out ready to rush off to the vets should anything go wrong but we had a text book whelping. 7 live pups in 6 hours and she was fantastic. I will definately be prepared when i mate my girl who had the first litter later this year.
Good luck.

ps: Buy the book of the bitch, its invaluable.

hi, the reason i said that in this case was because perrodegu says that they have had a previous litter and now are saying this is their first!!!! must be a reason for that???? I love the genuine links about people and their whelping bitches and new litters.

Mind its 10 at night and have had a glass of wine so perhaps i am missing your irony ha ha ha.

good luck sami

Yep. Not easy to forget about a previous litter, surely?

i just think it might be lies, either way, either lying about last litter or frightened to say what happened in last litter so therefore pretending not to have had one, trouble is you neeed to have a good memory to lie,,,,
