I have a female dog and a lawn, well you all know what im going to ask,, other than running after her with the watering can after she has a wee is there any think else i can do to stop the scorched marks she leaves, we have already replaced the grass once this year well a little bit of it, do you think its too late to train her to wee on the slabs at the top of the garden, she has never done this but i am willing to train her. thank you all

Leave it all alone! The scorch marks will recover and end up greener than the rest of the grass. :-)

Keep the grass longer than you are now, and it won't get scorched.

Tomato juice in with the dinner or  buy some Green-ums tablets which you give the dog and it will prevent the scortch marks or a similar product.

My boyfriends parents garden looks funny at the moment as a month ago we took one of the girls down and now they have about 8 patches of "burnt" grass with a circle of bright green grass about it!

Have you tried 'dog rocks' ? I bought some from Crufts this year after my vet recommended them and despite being sceptical they work quite well. They have a website if you are interested.

Don't use Jeyes if you have cats, any disinfectant that goes milky in water is poisonous to them.
