well we are all sad today as have just heard that the bitch that our new cz import was mated to, has just lost all her pups and so close to full term :( :( :(
its so sad for everyone....the bitch, her owners, all the puppy buyers that had been so excitedly waiting for sooooo long. What makes it so much more infuriation is hearing about  some breeders who just throw 2 hounds together, dont care about the future of the breed, only whats going into their pockets....:( they have a litter with no probs and just take the money and run (figuratively speaking)

How sad, i bet the poor bitch doesnt know whats going on. and how sad for the prospective owners id be heartbroken. I know what you mean about people throwing dogs together and getting huge benefits. I know of a bitch that has just had a litter of 11 thats a good sized litter for any dog, and the bitch is a terrible example of the breed, no health checks and the sires the same, yet they are selling them at above the going rate.

My next litter will be a 8 hours round trip (alot of diesel) ( i know people have travelled much further than this also) and i have studied the stud for over a year now his show wins bloodlines and the progeny he has produced. I have my bitch scored and so is the dog. I dont think i will be as lucky to have such a large litter and i have a 25 strong waiting list too.

Sam tell me about it!!  Same in my breed and those of us who really care either our bitches miss which has happened to me twice now or I have a litter of 2!!
