Im so bored as oh is watching the grand prix and i now find them so boring, its raining and i have already walked and groomed all three dogs.
washing ironing and housework are all done.
no good films on tv to watch.
just another english bank holiday i guess.

Which bit? OH at work? ;)
- By newf3 [gb] Date 25.05.08 13:11 UTC
yes and no housework.
i love my husband but sometimes wish for a day by myself just me and the dogs.
hot bath, facepack and a great girlie film. with a cold bottle of wine.
steel magnols is my all time fave.
dirty dancing or beaches will also do.
how about you?

sounds like a great plan newf! send OH to the pub or something! just moved in with mine and so far so good, he went to pub the other night with his mates for a quiet couple, gave me a chance for a bath. then he came home and gave me a massage :) lovely boy

I just love soppy romances and anything to make me cry really. Def Beaches, Always, Forever young that sort of thing, even Green Mile!. OH tries not to laugh when I start snivelling but if I forget myself and give him that 'look' he roars and makes it worse...better to watch on my own I think :)
OH works every weekend, 1 week daytime next week nights etc luckily I don't mind my own company LOL but yes it does get boring sometimes and sometimes theres even lots I could be doing - I just don't want to!!!

good for you.
how did you train him to give you a massage ive been married to mine for 13 years and he has never done this!!

Although he does nearly all the dog grooming.( i just do the bath and blow drys useally.)
and drives me all over for the dog shows and carrys the heavy bags and has brought me three wonderful dogs so i suppose he's not all that bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he's indulgent :) also i am a master whinger. lol, no i am a very large chested girl and get back pain accordingly. think he figures since he gets to enjoy the cause he might as well help fix it. i'm also a slave to the massage and its by far the easiest way to get me in a good mood.

i might be invoking the curse of the smug girl here but... he also tidied the house from top to bottom yesterday as we were having people round. he also made me a delicious dinner the other night for when i got home from work- grilled trout in a lemon and herb butter (yum!!).

on the other hand he's been taking the mick all day because i'm hung over and he doesn't get hang overs. meanie.

Enjoy it while it lasts Astarte LOL Hes drawing you in hook, line and sinker! Really, most blokes have this loving, considerate side - with some its just deeply hidden :)

i consider myself very lucky. he grew up just him and his mum and she has my enduring adoration because she trained him up very well indeed. he cleans, he cooks, he does diy and so on, he also loves my hairy beasts and is very excited about big boy moving in so generally i'm pretty chuffed.

he cannot however ever manage to find things... like to a stupid extent, if its right in from of him he still can't see it. is this just him or generally men?

Yesterday I painted the picket fence
Today, a day of mooching
Tomorrow, a fun!? day has been planned for me - i'm to help knock up concrete for the pond footings!!

MEN !!! OH locked the boot after shopping on Friday then asked me where the keys were as he walked down the garden steps. He was talking out the side of his mouth for goodness sake - I just stared in disbelief until he realised :)

men in genernal im afaid you just have to get used to it.
back from b&q, wickes, focus and homebase.
where did we find the no smell gloss?
homebase as i said in the 1st place but he would not listen!!!
just went to b&q etc 20 miles away and then back to homebase, 1/2 up the road.
you tell def tell he's just moved in Astarte i would make the most of it while it lasts.

but it sounds like his Mum did i great job so maybe you do have a great guy.
xx

he he he, silly men. its just cause they like b+Q trips (to be fair i also like b+q trips but i think it comes of going so often with dad when i was younger)

he is great, i've been very lucky, dunno quite how i managed it... i'd better try and reciprocate the effort
