What is the best puppy food? particulary for a large breed.

The one they will eat :-) Stick with whatever the breeder gives you when you collect the dog and only change if you are not happy with your pups progress or have some moral reason for not wishing to feed it. Different breeds do best on different foods so it is a good idea to ask others with your breed also when they are changed from puppy to Junior or adult.

OK stick with that for at least a month and then if you wish to change over do so over about 2 weeks gradually add a little of the new food and remove a little of the old. BTW take a water carrier with you and bring some of the breeders water back with you and do the same thing over the first week.
