I could just be the weather and the fact that she's getting uncomfortable. It's been very muggy here today and my lot have been panting this afternoon.

Oh I hope I have your luck, the last two occasions I have kept a pup there were only two girls to choose from.
well...........there were complications, penny had a still born at 11.25am and after trying and trying to revive it i couldnt,it was heartbreaking my daughter was sobbing contineous, but now penny all settled i think thats it on the puppy stage .....other 4 are feeding well, look all ok and resting at the minute,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but just want to say thanks to all for advice and support, was an experience i will never forget my very first litter..................now off for a stiff brandy and oh a nap hopefully...........
Sorry to hear that you lost one. Although it happens fairly often in litters it still hurts when it happens. You did your best for the little one but sometimes it isn't meant to be. I still think of the two I lost in my first litter nearly eight years ago wondering if I could have done more. The first litter you have is always that special one although each one after is just as nerve wracking at the time.
