Does anyone Know of a good moss killer to use of lawns. I dont want a bowling Green but do want to keep the moss at bay.
There are lots of moss killers on the market but wondered if anyone had an experience of a paticular brand.
Thanks for any info.

I use
Westlands Feed & Weed on my front lawn which the dogs don't have access to. It gets rid of not just the moss, but weeds as well & also feeds the lawn.
Why not get a scarifier and get rid of the moss that way?

Why not enjoy the moss? More the merrier, because you don't have to mow it ;-)

If you don't kill the moss before you scarify the lawn all you do is spread the moss. I'll have to scarify mine to get the dead moss out, but at least it won't spread it
I've given up on my ?lawn? There's far more moss than grass so I'm digging it up and putting a wild flower garden in its place.
One of my neighbours dug up his lawn and replanted it with fresh grass seed 2 years ago. It's just as bad as ever.

Must admit, the reason I love going in the forest is because of the moss, it is great to walk on, like walking on a foam mattress, when my children were little I always used to wish I could turn my lawn into a nice moss area where if they fell from their activity jungle it would be a nice soft bouncy landing. :-D Mind you probably stain their clothes. :-)
if you've got moss there's probably an underlying problem, such as the area is too wet, or too shaded
a scarifier will help reduce what is there, but it will come back if dranage is a problem, and I'm not a big fan of using any chemicals in the garden (I spend hours digging weeds up myself) Our lawn is mossy in places, I just enjoy the different texture underfoot....
