Is she sure it was the puppy appearing and going back inside or was it the amniotic sack?? as it can part show then retract back.

if pup was half way out use a lubricant and help to ease pup out gently easing in a downward position if she has the book of the bitch it describes it well

No it's only 10 mins, you must have your clock set wrong :-)

Is it actually a pup or the waterbag that precedes it? She can tell by feeling the swelling above the vulva - if it's soft it's the waterbag (don't break it) - if it's hard it's a pup. If it's a pup - phone the vet.

just on phone and she is trying to get outside to garden, as she is a maiden bitch i have told emma she probably thinks she needs to go to toilet and if she wants to take her out to put a leash on her just in case. i think the times must be wrong on here i will keep posting for her and thank you from both of us, she is now on the phone to the vet

hiya and thank you, the vet has said the same thing as you and it is the water bag,  i will keep you updated  thank you again

If it is the water bag then up to about two hours after without a pup is fine after that i would contact the vet.

Walking her on lead in the garden is a good idea and likely to get things moving
