My little brittany just 7 month old, has large problem with her ears. She is now on here third penicillin
treatment.
This time the vet said, that she should try Oterna ear drops and synulox. If there is some one who nows
if Oterna is not good using on dogs please tell what you have experience with it. I have red that they absolutely not recomend it to ferrys, because it damage their ears.
I have heard about thornit but have never tried it. My dog, has fungis and "stafylikokker" ( I do not now what it is called in English) but it is an bacterial infection.It starts with that she is scracthing and there ar e a lot of dirty wax. And then it get red. Now the vet this is the last treatment to try. We are going to order Thornit but would like to here something more about it. So if you now anything , maybe your experience and what Thornit is and so.
And as told this is the third time she got it. Non of the others puppies in that litter got it.
If there is any herbal treatment who is good also, please tell about that to, we want to try everything to make here well.

I have a Bracco Italiano who has had an on going ear problem for some time and being a bracco has needed his ears cleaned every few days. At first the vets gave us various things to use in his ears, but I recently purchased some Thornit Canker Powder and I can highly recommend it. After just one week my dogs ears are CLEAR! I had grave doubts about adding a 'powder' to my dogs ears, but the transformation has been incredible. I am not sure if your dog has a more serious ear complaint, but if it is a canker problem, then give Thornit a try :-)

Thornit works really well on my Cockers ears - no more smelly spaniel ear :)

Thornit works well on my gwp too. He has problems with his ears and I use a bit of thornit and it clears it up. My vet doesn't like me putting powder down his ears and I do try and use Leo Ear Cleaner but do find that Thornit works better.

I fully recommend Thornit, my champion bitch had red irritable ears, tried everything from the vet, after spending hundreds of pounds on stuff that didnt work, someone said about Thornit, I tried it, only thing that worked, that was 8 years ago, I always have some handy just in case, every so often just put a sprinkle in hers ears. No problem:):)

Would Thornit be suitable to use in Hugo's ears after he's been to the groomer and had all his ear-hair plucked out? He's only been once so far, but spent the following three days shaking his head.

I've been told that if you put Thornit in the ears 2-3 days before plucking out the hair it makes it easier to come out. I do that with Toby and it does seem to come out easier so I don't think he finds it irritating.

I put it into Zaks ears and the hair comes out really easily.
