I had to have my engagement ring repaired as I'd lost 2 stones from it. It was a bit of a luxury to get it done as finding the money for the repair would be a bit tight. I was thinking I'd have to skip a weeks food shopping!!!!

While I was waiting I noticed a sign that said re-cycle your old jewellery here for cash.  I nipped home and got out the scrap box where broken bits and pieces have been put in over the years, sorted out the gold and took it back in when I collected my ring. 

I got enough to cover the repair 4 times over!
