Hi All

My pup seems to be rushing her food and getting hiccups? Is this normal, will they learn to eat slower as she gets older?

Don't worry, this is normal! They often keep on rushing their food (gone in under a minute usually) but grow out getting the hiccups. :-)

Yup our youngsters get them frequently, usually because they 'woff' their food down too quickly!

Your pup should grow out of it, so dont worry :)

Can only agree, perfectly normal.

Thanks for that! I thought it was but she looks at me with puppy dog eyes hiccupping! Bless her!

Probably used to a load of pups fighting for the food!

Work this one out....my pup gets hiccups nearly every day, but, usually only in the morning before he gets up and certainly before he has actually eaten anything!!!
