Hi guys

Just moved into my new house, the previous people had three german shepard dogs. The must have been marking up the kitchen cupboards and locked in all day as there is strong urine smell in the kitchen and my dog and bitches have started to pee in the kitchen too.  Is there any good remides any one can think off to get rid of smell and also get rid of scent to stop my dogs peeing in the house?

A white vinegar solution is fabulous.  Will do the job cheaper than the dog sprays in PAH.

do you just mix it with water? does it just take smell away or will it also stop my dogs trying to mark too?

Yes dilute with water (I don't do it exactly, just put a couple of caps of vinegar in a jug and dilute with water (not too much) for a small area.  It gets rid of smell and stain, in fact I use it a lot with general household cleaning.   A friend of mine spent about £6 buying a spray that said it did the same in PAH, but the dog kept coming back to the carpet so it couldn't have masked the smell very well.  However, I have found the vinegar solution to be really effective.

I am guessing they are ceramic tiles.  If by any chance they are stone, don't use vinegar.
