Yes that's entirely normal - all us mums that breast fed will be familiar with that lovely gooey colour.  You tend not to see much poo at this age as mum normal eats as she's cleaning them (which makes them poo as they can't normaly go on their own for some days).  In a four weeks time you will wish it was still as little as you can see now.

I have heard it described as mustard coloured toothpaste consistency.

Yes definately in bulk - mine are 7 1/2 weeks and I got through so much kitchen roll.  I ran out one day and had to do an emergancy run to Tesco. Believe me you'll be so busy the last thing you have time for is shopping.  Wish I'd taken advantage of the home delivery as when I went in my trolley was full of kitchen roll with little room for anything else.  Toilet roll was okay to start with but the poo soon got so big that it was rubbish!!  But at least it could be flushed down the loo unlike kitchen roll.  Plus of course the little darlings are trying very hard to get it off you so they can do their worst.  Could I recommend the no water hand wash - brilliant stuff as you also have little time to get to a sink.  Usually a poo arrives just as you are tucking into a longed for sandwich or biscuit.
