my 'baby' aged almost 6yrs was at the vet to be spayed today, she had three lumps removed also (benign). this is the first time she has been to the vets.  I felt a right heal! she had two cysts that had just appeared and were very messy, so I decided that she would get it all done together, she is laying out for the count after having her second wee meal of chicken.  I dont think I have ever had a dog that has been so healthy, as I said apart from booster is is a stranger to our vet.

Oh yeah, surprised that a vet is open to do normal general operations on a bank holiday?

Glad to hear that your girls fine, how did they know the lumps were benign as the results have come back quickly also?  Mine do them in house and still wouldn't get the results back the same day as the operation.

Sorry not having a go above just being nosey (agghh I wish I knew how to do the smilies!!).

I am in Scotland so its not a Bank Holiday here....Also The lumps were just fatty lumps. My vet is very good and will be honest and say what he feels, I trust him when he says fatty.
