I would like to hear what anyone has to say about the Amichien Bonding method?  I was considering getting a consultation recently due to experiencing problems with my 6-month GSD - but after researching the system and asking direct questions to more than one of the consultants and not getting any satisfactory answers I am now of the opinion that this is nothing more than a 'pyramid selling' technique whereby the consultants pay approx. £1000 in order to 'get qualified'!!  Then basically they are out on their own to seek their own customers via the website etc. - at the same time promoting JF's name throughout.

I have to say i feel very similar to you about it. Personally wouldn't bother with them, much rather go to a good reputable apbc behaviourist or apdt trainer.

Hello there,
I totally agree that I would not entertain such a thing.  A bit of time and patience and a good obedience training class (you can find these on the Kennel Club web site) and just gently make sure right from the start that you are the boss.  i.e.  Never let the dog be fed at the table when you are eating.  Always go through a door before the dog, making him wait until you go through first.  A good obedience class works wonderful.  At the beginning you think you are wasting your time, but all of a sudden the penny clicks what is required of your pup and he will begin to do all the obedience you have been persevering with.   Sooooo very rewarding.  The socialisation with other dogs and their owners also helps a great deal.
Best of Luck
Barbara
