Did you know that in Ireland they started charging for placcy bags in order to save the environment ...and it is working. There are fewer and fewer placcy bags found on the streets , in the rivers etc etc. People are reusing them rather than paying out for new ones. There are plans to begin charging here in the UK too.

Also ...Stephen now *rates* carrier bags on their ability as poo picker uppers :) If they have too many airholes in they are no good. If they are too thin you can feel through them too much ( *shudder* ) ...he reckons that Asda bags are quite good :D

it's funny how burberry has now become a name, i had a burberry school mac when i started school and they were thought of as very fuddy duddy,old fashioned, i used to hate it as it was down to my ankles"you will grow in to it" a mothers famous words, still have night mares about that mac truly indestructable. regards tina
