Hi All,

Another question!!!

My pup is being fed on Eukanuba puppy food. Is it best to continue to feed her on dried food?

I have bought a good supply of the puppy food but when she gets older is dry food sufficient?

I havent had a dog in a long while. I mean I have two cats and I feed them wet meat in the morning and dried in the evening.

What does the breeder raise the pup she keeps back on? What food does she feed her adult dogs? She may know from experience that some food others recommend may not suit her breed, or they do better on a certain type of food. Do her adult/youngsters look well and healthy?

What is best is what suits your puppy, if doing well on Eukanuba then carry on with it, certainly until the puppy has settled well with you. Lots of chopping and changing can upset the tummy and make for a fussy eater. Personally I prefere Arden Grange to Eukanuba, and not just because its cheaper :) but I prefere whats in the sack.

If shes doing well, then yes, a good quality complete should do the job. But there are lots of people on here that can advise re raw feeding.

Mum is on dried. And she is doing well and looks good and healthy.

Breeder has not kept any from this litter and only has the one bitch so difficult to see. I mean the litter are good and healthy. She did mention another type of dried. I mean she has got Eukanuba puppy packs for all of the pups. I will see how she gets on.

This is the first time we have had a smaller breed of dog so dont want to over feed her or anything... have got a measuring cup! Haha! :-)

Arden Grange... I will have a look out for that!

Thanks very much!
