Well I took your advice on my 7 month old kitten and she had her girly bits out yesterday. The vet nurse said they couldnt find her right ovary so had to search for it so she will be a bit more battered and bruised than normal. She's got a bigger scar too.

I was really sad last night because she looked so sorry for herself! (I'll never be able to have kids if I cant cope with the pain of a kitten!). Today she has drunk some water, has been to the toilet and has eaten a tiny amount of food but she's struggling to walk with the cone on! She's back at the vets Monday.

Please send all your good healing vibes my way for her. :)

PS: Looks like Im getting another kitten in 3 weeks!!

Bless her. I'm sure she''l be feeling better soon :)
It's great thats shes eaten and been to the loo.

My cat was spayed a couple of weeks ago, I never put the cone thinggy on her as she didn't bother with the scar (she didn't have stitches, she was 'glued'). So far there is a slight improvement in her temperment, she was an evil little cow before :( and now is slowy getting more friendly :)

Sending good healing vibes to your kitten & some cheer up & be happy vibes to you :) Your kitten will be right & rain soon and over the moon with a new playmate :)

Thank you Mastiff. She seems to have a slight difficulty in swallowing which Im guessing is from the tube down her throat, maybe she has a bit of a sore throat? She's so cuddly at the minute Im loving it. She's a lovely cat anyway but hopefully the calling at 3 o clock in the morning will stop now! :D

It could be that her throat is dry & sore from the op. I got a 'recovery food pack', for my cat, it was pouches of cat food that was chopped up in very small pieces in a gravy (can't remember the make - it was from the vets).

The calling will stop, and if you hadn't got her spayed it would have got worse & worse & worse (speaking from experience) and it wouldn't have been nice for her or you. :( There is no way I will ever leave it so long (2 years) getting a cat spayed again.

Enjoy your cuddles with her, because before you know it she'll be feeling better and be happily playing with the new kitten when you get it :)

She's all better now. The collar is off and her scar is healing brilliantly!

Im getting another female kitten a week on Sunday so Im gonna have to go through it all again!!

Glad that she's OK now :) How exiting - not long 'till the new kitten :) At least you know what to expect with the next op.
