Does anyone know what the fittings are like, and if it is easy to take out and put back in once fitted. I use my car for work which means I often have to but a foldable, but fairly heavy table in the back. It would not go throught the dog of the tailgate, so I would need to remove it for work.
Many thanks
It depends on the car. My Volvo ones have always just slotted in at the bottom and then you have to tighten the screw fittings at the top but my Golf one (both still for sale!) has screw fittings at the top and bottom, but neither take very long to move.
I had a one for my volvo v40 and as far as i can remember it had no fittings - you just put the back seats forward slightly then slot the guard in and click seats back into position. It was easy.
Hi Lorripop
She's asking about a tailgate guard rather than a dog guard :)

I've got one :) The dog guard bit is easy, as someone else said it just goes behind the seats, but the tail gate is bolted on and stays on.

Thanks everyone - I have a ford focus estate. Mmmm so seems it may not be easy to take out and put back in.

I have a tail gate and it is easy to remove just unscrew the fittings to take out it is a barjo

Ours have always been unscrew bolts (4) and take out. Easy as! :) I think they are Barjo's and it was same for the astra and the mondeo!

Thanks all
I went to see it and it is secured with wingnuts so easy to take in and out.
