HI, need a bit of help again!!! our 10 month old pup, we cured him of his bed wetting with thanks to you guys, but now he taken to peeing in one spot in the house in the dining room (it is quarry tiled thank goodness) it is exactly the same place every time and he will even do it there if the door is open for him to come in and out.  Feel like a real novice  but have been breeding and showing dogs for many years, but never kept such a piddly puppy. He does not wee anywhere else in the house, just this one place in the dining room HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you'll need to give it a serious scrub, he'll be attracted to the lingering smell (to his doggy nose) from the previous times.

What are you cleaning it up with?
If you are using bleach or household cleaners the smell may be encouraging him to go back and pee there again. You need to clean with specialist dog wee cleaner from pet shop, or another cleaning product which gets rid of the smell, but does not replicate it (to a dog).
Otherwise, he obviously thinks he is peeing in the right place, so it is back to square one, don't let him out of your sight, as soon as he goes to that spot, quickly take him outside to pee there, and praise him when he does pee outside.
He is not a baby now, so i would be inclined to be a bit cross and say 'NO!' if i caught him in the act of peeing in the dining room, as well as picking him up or shoving him outside if he is too big to pick up. But don't let him in there unsupervised, so he can't sneak in and do it unnoticed, because it is obviously no point at all telling him off after the event.

Have you used diluted Biological Washing Liquid for clothes to clean it up?  follow this with spirit vinegar to totally get rid of the smell ;)  This should help ;)   (apologies if you've already done this)

Block off the spot with your dining room chairs so he cannot get to it for a few days, then always encourage him outside this worked in our house.
