I did it. I bleached my hair with a product, that when I called and asked how long to leave it on since I have auburn hair, they told me an hour and a half@@
So I left the bleach on it that long, and by the time I rinsed it out, My hair was straw, and a horrid colour. It was also breaking off!
Talked to a hairdresser about it, and they said, just put an ASH coloured blonde on it. Something like Garneir Nutriese (sp?), since it doesnt have amonia in it. If you dont use an ASH colour, to tone down any orange bits, then it will come out looking like an apricot poodle. The ASH neutralizes the colour, and makes it sort of a dark blonde colour, instead of a apricot.
I used the hair colour, and also use a deep conditioner (for coloured persons hair - so you want to get it from a hair salon that deals with weaves and extensions). I personally used CHOLESTEROL, which is the products name. It worked really good, and it saved my hair.
