lol, that's so cute :)

My pup can shut doors/draws, if you say 'shut' he'll shut it with his nose, if you say 'with paw' he'll use his paw :) , but he can only open doors if they're not shut tight (he opens them with a head-butt!).

Another one - not much of a trick, but it is sweet - you say 'kisses' & he'll lick your hand. Another simple one, I'll put 3 up-turned cups in front of him, put a treat under 1, say 'find it' and he'll put his paw on top of the one with the treat in (he'll do anything for food so he got this one in 2 tries).

We're working on 'back up' at the moment, he's rather large so when he goes down the hallway to greet people (narrow hallway :( ), he finds it hard to turn around, 'back up' is for him to walk backwards, so he doesn't have to take anyone's legs out trying to turn around, he gets it right about 90% of the time, so a bit more work on that one.

I'd love to teach my pup to 'speak', but he hardly barks, so there isn't much of a starting point :(

my dog sings, shouts mam, sometimes says hello, hes great, my bitch sometimes (in her funny mad mood) races round the outside of the couch, i mean litterally her body is horrizontal to the back of the couch, sooooo funny

mine will give kisses if you say "kiss kiss" - of course not every one wants big sloppy kisses, but they don't do it without prompting ;)

the lurcher will cock her head and "talk" if you ask her "where's the boy - is he in the well" (don't ask - hubby's doing!!)

:)

My dog will go and get my Dads slippers from the door and bring them into him when he's sat on the sofa.
He does all the other ususal tricks but thing the slippers thing is quite original and funny to watch!

My girl Cher, when you say "foot back" will move it like a bull charging at you.  Grind it against the floor.  I think its from the show training, when I would say foot back and move her foot into the right spot.  But boy, is it ever funny and cute to see.

I have also trained Cher an interesting "take it" thing.  First started with her toys, where I would throw it and say take it and she would fetch it for me.  Well, having mobility issues, I taught Cher to pick stuff up off the floor if I dropped them.  Converters for the TV, slippers, etc.  Well, the other night, I layed my crutches on the floor, beside my bed.  I didnt want her to knock them over, and hit her or break something else in my room.  Well, wouldnt you believe that this tiny Min Pin took my crutches and brought them on my bed!!!!!!!!  Me thinks I have to fine tune the training, but it was awfully cute!

If I may go off topic a bit, since I am so proud of this (and its tricks to, just with cats, not dogs!)
My sister, has 2 cats.  Zoloft and Celexa (funny story to naming them, but.....)  Well, she has taught Zoloft how to:  use the toilet (like in the movie Meet the Parents with Mr Zinx), roll over like a dog, heel on leash, come when called, cat agility, Sit, Stay, down, the whole nine yards!!!!!  It is so cute to see.  Her friends are amazed that her cat acts more like a dog than a cat!  Her other cat Celexa, is starting to grasp things, and is using the toilet.  Amazing what my sister has done with her cats!

Umm Anton lies down and I lie down with him.  I ask for a hug and a kiss and he puts his front paws round my necks and gives me a big sloppy kiss!!!

Both mine know 'kisses' and will give a lick. Both can also do 'paw' and they are learning 'left' and 'right' and other relevant commands for when we start scootering them. They also go to their own beds when we tell them 'bed'.
As well as that Missy can open doors (we have not trained her to do this) and has locked me out the house by trying to open the door to get out when I was hanging washing out but instead got her paw on the key and ended up turning it. She also knows both 'speak' when she will bark and 'howl' when she howls. She will also 'dance' where she stands on her back legs and turns in circles!

When I take my Chocolate lab out, he has one of those ball slingers and I just keep scooping the ball up and throwing it as far as possible, I never touch the ball as when we've done the last throw and he drops it at my feet, I say 'fetch it' he picks up the ball I open the carrier bag and he drops it in!  The cocker does plenty of tricks including speak, high fives etc.,  The one people like to see is when they are both playing ball in the garden, I throw the ball, Lab gets it first and drops it about a foot away from me, whilst I'm sitting on the bench, I say Dicksy fetch it and he brings it and puts it on the bench beside me!  Not that I'm lazy of course!

Self taught - but somehow mine manages to separate PEAS from a food bowl full of his dinner and any leftovers. Not bad going when you see the speed he will wolf it down - minus the peas of course :)

Our Bichon plays "dead". He lays down and when we say "Bang" and use a hand signal like a gun ie two fingers pointing he lays on his side and stays there.
