Hi
I have two pups Lou Lou and Mia just coming up for 7 months. I think they are due for their first season would there be a strong smell prior to this as Mia is displaying a strong smell of what can only be described as fish?

I have never smelt an odour from any bitch in season.......I would recommend a vet check in case there is an infection.

Now that is strange.....we had my daughters akita to stay for 8 months. Sometimes she would wee in the house (once she even climbed up and did it on my side of the bed :(  ) and it always smelt fishy. But when she wee'd outside it didn't !!!?

Hi could she need her anal glands emptying ? This can cause a fishy smell. If you think this could be the problem a quick trip to the vets for them emptied would resolve it.
