Have an adult bitch who is twitching, flicking whatever you might call it, both her ears. Both at same time and seems to be an involuntary le action. She started this 24 hrs ago and this morning one eye looked a little different, a bit sunken (like a clumber eyeset) but is now looking better.  She is normal otherwise, eating etc, I am keeping her warm and quiet Vet says wait and see. Is this the onset of a stroke, or a small stroke already or something else someone out there mayhav experienced?  It is NOT ear infection of any kind and temp is normal.

How old is she????
Gemma got a sunken eye, and vet said she had a mini stroke, but she had no other symptoms.
She had another one a few months later which was worse, and vet gave the advice that they bounce back from strokes quickly. Gemma was falling over and walking in circles, but after 3 or 4 days she was alot better and not falling. Unfortunatly I dont know how long it would have taken to recover complatly as she was PTS a week after the last stroke, but that was, we think, from the cancer not from the stroke.
So give it time :)
Lea :)
