It is no point having any more laws as it is the enforcement of them that is the problem and those already around are not used properly.

In Ireland certain breeds (a large list of common breeds including Bull guarding/herding breeds) are required to be muzzled in public yet this is not enforced at all it would seem.
I know that friends with dobes visiting Ireland had bought muzzles for their dogs to comply with the law only to find it was openly flouted.
How many of the kind of peopel causign problems with their dogs are going to abide by any law relating to restricting them? Who will suffer as a result, the dogs and the law abidign owner, with restrictions they do not need or deserve.
