Hi Tooolz,
there are more posts about this on my behaviour topic as people are reading your posts and replying over on the other one.
His aggression has been evident from three weeks of age, he was taught bite inhibition and if playing he knows when to stop if l say no because he is getting a bit too excited. l have always had rules and boundaries and most of the time he does what l say.  lf he  does get too aggressive l tell him no and he is told to go to his crate which he does and then l close the door and he remains there until l let him out, usually about 10 - 15 minutes.
Hi s favorite thing is food, and he hates being ignored more than anything, so training him is quite easy most of the time.

An example would be if he jumps on the couch and then l want to sit there l will say off and say six times out of ten he will just do it and is fine, maybe two times out of ten he will get down but grumble about it, not a growl, but a grumble, then the other two times he will refuse to go down and l will say off very firmly and he will jump up to bite, l will then tell him no, naughty, go to your crate, he will slink off head down and sit in there until l say he can come out, when he does come out  he will fuss all over me and want to play, l reward him when good and send him to his crate when bad. Sometimes with the couch if he sees lm coming he will get off by himself without being told.

He has improved alot , and most of the time he tries to bite when having things done to him, such as if his ears need cleaning, or brushing teeth, although he has not tried to bite with teeth brushing for over two months now because l have tried a new tecknique, putting a piece of food were he can see it so he focuses on the food and l can do his teeth a treat.

He is a tough nut to crack, but he has made lots of progress as far as the aggression goes and l work on it everyday.
Although lm not scared of him, he's too small so if l do have to move him when he's in a mood l just pull my sleeves down over my hand and pick him up and put him in his crate, buy mostly he goes there when told.

So l have always had rules and boudaries for him and any unacceptable behaviour results in him being ignored and sent to his crate.
So what else can l do, l must say though that 90 percent of the time he does what he's told and is mostly well behaved, just thats he's very hyper and exitable and he can turn aggressive quickly, ld say maybe three times a month he will try to bite compared to weekly about a year ago.

He does strut round the garden like he owns the world and to see that then the panic striken dog he is when out is quite unbelievable.
So what else can l do considering the things lve pointed out so far.
Thanks again.

> Sometimes the toughest old nut will turn out to have the kindest heart so keep a look out. Apparently I'm scarey and bossy at classes but I'm a softey really.....

I wholeheartedly agree with that! I used to be terrified of Tooolz before I knew her properly, but now she's my best friend. (still terrified tho.... only joking! ;-) )

Keep your chin up, life can be such a rollercoaster. You've lots of people thinking of you xxx
