Hi am watching Most Haunted Live .. I think it's fab ...

Have to say I did prefer Derek Acorah doing the whole physic bit,
this new guy .. Brian .. he just seems to makes me jump all the time
with his constant Oh My Gods and Jesus Christs ... :eek :

What gets me is the constant flamin adverts .. Sky plused it, at least I can
fast forward through them .. What is that all about? Living have quite a few good shows
but I find that really irritating and it spoils the viewing .. although OH would say the
choice of programmes did that anyway ;)

What do you think of it, I definately think there's something in it, most of it can
probably be explained rationally, but as someone who actually had a conversation
with my gran when I was 15, the day after she died !!  I definately believe .. DO YOU

Derek Acorah is no more a psychic than I am!  Great actor (not even sure about that)!!  Although saying that I do believe in ghosts.

Cos he was so believable when he went into his trances & forever calling Yvette 'Yvie' etc.    !!!!!!  I think David Wells is good and that Scots guy that was on, who's a hairdresser too - can't remember his name.   Derek was on for pure entertainment value only, my sister & I used to be creased up with his acting, he was hilarious.

It all happened when they did the stint at Bodmin Jail.  That's why he was taken off the show.  You can read why here.

I believe in ghosts but dont believe a lot of Most Haunted is true...although i still watch it anyway :-)
I find it odd that in all the years of doing it and all the equipment they use, they've never really proven anything. A few sounds and things but no stone cold evidence caught on camera

I always thought he was a genuine psychic as he had been doing it for years, I always have done and will believe in ghosts/spirits and forces as I have expieranced them good and bad but really intrigued to know what rumbled Derek.....

This happened ages ago - I'm not sure why it's taken so long to drop him LOL.  He was duped into believing that a SA man haunted the jail and a name made up as an anagram of Derek Faker :-D :-D  Good old D Dipstick fell for it hook line and sinker to the point of being "possessed" by the spirit of this fake soul - hilarious but too pathetic really!

Basically, Keiran O'Keef the resident parapsychologist had his doubts about Acora and told a researcher, who would later be walking Acora through the jail before the show, about a South African inmate who was supposed to be haunting the jail and who was very angry about his treatment.  This inmate was a figment of Keiron's imagination and he gave him the name 'Kreed Kafer' - an anagram of 'Derek faker'.  Low and behold, when the vigil began, Acora was 'possessed' by said Kreed Kafer - saying that he was a South Afican inmate who wanted to cause people harm as he was so angry.  So Acora proved himself to be a fake and was taken off the show.

Its hard enough to stop people mocking the spiritual world if they have had no expierance with it, so people like Dipstick Derek just ake matters worse.

Cant believe he was a fake.....and he was set up by Kieran! Kieran is genuine tho right? As he is more laid back and doesnt get 'possesed' every 10 seconds. PMSL

David Wells is really good , I like how he desribes things in so much detail.

Nowadays, there is a lot of money to be made out of their kind of work, whereas when my grandmother practiced her gifts for a lot less money, people would cross the street rather than speak to her in town, then later when they needed her they have been known to walk 10 miles just to see her! For me as a child, I was very aware that we were different and some of the kids in our village wern't allowed to play with me or come to our house!

How times have changed and it's unreconisable to me, now it seems everyone wants to know about the supernatual and even better become "one of the gifted ones"?

Unfortunatly, that means there are a lot of fakes out there out to make an east buck as well some who genuinely believe they have something but don't. It's all to do with fashion and money, which is very sad.

It is odd how after all the years of it being on and their 'investigations'
they've never caught anything other than strange sounds and 'orbs' which are probably dust
particles or something  :)

When I was living in New Zealand there was a great psychic program albeit a sad one.

Every week they would select a psychic at random mostly from Australia.  The would be flown over to NZ and put in a car in an unknown location and just given a picture or a piece of jewellery of the person who had died, they then had to guide the driver to where they thought the people lived and died ( these were unsolved murders).

On one occasion the pychic was telling the driver to drive into the forrest on a mountain road to the place he felt this victim had died (correctly). A couple of miles up the road he was hyperventilating and crying his eyes out, he was yelling at the driver to turn round, he kept saying that he could see a girl who had been tortured and raped and left in the boot of a red car to die. It was not the person the program was about but it turned out that this had happened at this exact spot some years previously.

Seemed very genuine to me....

Thats been shown here too on one of the cable/digital channels as my sister watched it.

What's the Australian womans name on that programme?  They used her a few times and she was brilliant.  She found the exact spots of where the bodies were found, gave family history, how they were murdered etc.  She was brilliant.  Nearly all of these murders were low key ones and only mentioned in the locality so there's no way that she would of known unless of course it was yet another fix!

I use to watch MH, but it was the same every week the odd orb, bang, etc i don't know what series they are on now? nothing seems to happen!!
I do believe in ghosts/afterlife, I don't know how much of MH is real or set up for entertainment value!!!

Some friends went to see him at one of his live shows, they said a lot of people came away very disappointed!!

I've got it on in the background now... if that Yvette says " *gasp* did you hear that?" one more time I'm going to scream. NOOO we didn't flamin well hear it! You barely did, how are we supposed to?

And they keep banging on and on about a whistling noise that I can hear, I have the exact same noise going through my garden right now as the wind blows around the tree in my very enclosed garden... are they mad? :-)

I sometimes find the programme quite entertaining, but its just annoying me at the moment!

I think David Wells is very genuine as the way he is affected by what he sees and they way he acts is very honest, Derek was all in your face and possessed every 10 mo's, he probably got possessed walking round Tesco!!! LOL

If you go to old locations you more the likely will hear a few bangs and may well encounter a 'presence' as I have done before, but to make a series is stupid as nothing is guranteed to happen is it? You could have a whole series with nothing and 1 episode jam packed with stuff, they should film them and only put the ones in a series where stuff actully happens.

I will always watch it as long as David wells is in it, I think hes excellent and I do believe people can pick up on things like he does.
