Topic Other Boards / Foo / Anybody on slimming world diet?

I did this diet years ago and remember eating muller light yogurts quite a lot - just rejoined the online version of slimming world and eaten a muller light yogurt,  using the syns calculator it comes out to 4.5 syns - is that right?

thanks for your help

I think they are still just 1 in the book.  Perhaps 1 1/2 for the toffee. Do you have the book to hand?

no I dont get the book because I joined online - you get an online syns calculator but it doesnt have muller at all - I'm sure I remember it being one syn too - I shall have to see if I can buy the book somehow...

thanks for your help - it was the cherry one so I will put one point

Hi Maxine
I am doing Slimming World at the minute attending my local class. Pleased to tell you Muller light yogurts are free!!!! The ordinary yogurts that is, not the layered ones. If you have a password to get to the members section you can find out syns of particular products by searching them through whoever manufactures them. Good luck

I queried this with a SW consultant last time I was doing the diet, as I'd noticed that M&S equivalents had less calories and saturated fat, but came out at 4.5 sins or thereabouts. So, did the same to Muller and found the same as you.

The consultant completely failed to give any sensible answer, which leaves just one conclusion in my twisted little mind LOL ... sponsorship!

Lol! Hadn't considered that at all. I just know the diet works for me so I am happy with that.

Most definatly sponsored i would think. I have a suspicious mind aswell :-)

Oh yes Jane, the diet has worked very well in the past for me too. However, I wouldn't treat any of the other equivalent types of yoghurt that appear to have a higher sin value any differently to the Muller ones.

Strange isnt it?  I had great success when I did this diet last time but it was 10 years ago!  I'd never even thought about sponsor ship I just assumed there was a mistake - maybe I'll email them and see what they say...

thanks everyone
