Hi can anyone advise me I am thinking of getting a Patterdale Terrior (free to good home) I already have a dog but I was wondering if anyone knew how these dogs mixed with others

This question came up a short while ago -same breed etc. Have tried looking for it but cant find it. I'm sure someone will be along soon to point you in that direction.

if they have been socialised with other dogs then there shouldnt be a problem, although this isnt neccesarily true all of the time, introduce it to your dog before you take it home

Thanks I am taking my dog with me to see how they get along before I think of taking her home they are both around the same age so I thought they would be good company for each other (fingers crossed)

Thanks for the websites it has put my mind at rest, I too looked on the Working Patterdale website and thought this is not the dog for me but reading the messages of those who have them as pets has made it much better for me
