ah!!! some people!! i'm researching for an essay i'm doing on dangerous dogs and have come across some other forums, my god the idiots!! apparently people who show are only in it for the money (what was the BIS prize at crufts...£100 wasn't it???), certain breeds (rotties, staffies etc) are specially trained to be dangerous by nature (so what in the womb? thats new) and basically everything from a dachund upwards should be shot for being an evil scourge to humanity.

taking deep breaths...

Your essay will be great.

It is horrid, to read about total idiots and the way they believe dogs should or do behave.  Sad truth to the world of dogs.

From what you have mentioned about your essay, it seems you are very passionate about the subject, and I think your passion, and your disgust at the idiots of the world, will make your essay wonderful.

Keep up the hard work, and just shake your head at the idiots that purposely make their dogs dangerous.  Hopefully those people are few and far between.

NOO! i need to try and maintain a scientific aloofness! this is the really hard thing about my course sometimes, its almost impossible to keep a clear head on it!

thanks though, thats very encouraging :)

In my course that I took, Assaulted Womens and Childrens Counsellor Advocate, we had to get passionate about things.  So I use the word passionate a lot. Basically, in my course, passionate meant angry, but still objective (ie: you could be very angry about what happened to a child, but you still had to remain objective).   Maybe passionate is the wrong word, maybe the word for your essay should be interest in the subject?

Anyways, I know you will do great!!!!!!!  It bites when you totally have to be detached from a subject, that you personally can not have feelings about it.  What you gotta do, is use those feelings to learn as much as you can, and use your brain editing to make it into what your teacher wants.

You will do great, I am sure!!!!!
