I didn't want to take over the BF and Cani-x topic, so here goes.

Last week we thought that BF was coming up to Scotland to interview young Erin and her dogs. She has been interviewed at Crufts for the last 2 years and they decided to do a thing on her this year. Because BF is doing the thing with Claire instead Peter Purves came up yesterday. (Much better, in my humble opinion ;-) )PP has actually interviewed Erin anyway at Crufts, so this is like a follow up, sort of...

Anyway, the programme they have made is actually going to be on BBC1 on Wednesday's The One Show at 7p.m.

Erin does loads of different things with her dogs. Not only does she show them, but she does obedience, agility, dancing to music and triathlon (I think, it's called that!) She does these thing with Large Munsterlanders, a border collie and a crossbreed. She has also started with a papillon they got last year. On top of all this she finds time to do other hobbies like horse riding. As PP said at crufts last year, she also finds time somewhere to go to school! Oh, and she is only 10 years old!

Well done Erin..... Good luck at Crufts this year. I'll be watching from home.

tadog, I didn't realise you were up this way! What dogs have you got? more importantly - do I know you???? ;-) )

Claire - I know what you mean about munsters pulling :-) I have 4 of them, and they all want to be in front :-D

Erin has such a rapport with her dogs that it's wonderful to see. Wish I was that good ;-) I usually get the what do you want? look........

PP is such a gentleman, and a gentle man, that he is just the right man to interview a child. BF would have wanted to pinch the limelight, but PP would want to get the best out of whoever is being interviewed.

Here, just had a thought. Do you think the BBC would let Erin do the presenting at Crufts? She'd do a much better job!!!!! ;-)

Lindylou - my friend now has 5, but then she is a bit strange ;)

Aren't we all  ;-)

Munsters tend to grow on you. One minute you have one, then the next you turn round and can't find a seat to sit on - they're all taken by the dogs :-D

Finally got on!!!! Erin says thanks for the comments shewould love to present crufts but may be too busy doing the dogs. She found peter purves to be a real nive guy and so down to earth. he even emailed her when he got home as she had asked about his dogs , so he sent her pics of them. she was dead chuffed.

- By georgepig [gb] Date 04.03.08 12:48 UTC
...or maybe Star?
I forget but I remember seeing a girl with them.

They are her dogs daughters ;-) Erin often handles them for the owners as they are in the ring at the same time. When I think about it I rarely see Erin without a dog in tow.............. :-)
