Does anyone have a recipe for homemade dog biscuits?  Ideally something super high in taste (its for recall training!!) but not too high in protein.    Thanks in advance.

I could probabaly dig some out for you, however my daughter decided to make some ginger bread men on Saturday and she forgot to add sugar, just a little treacle. They weren't sweet not that nice but the dogs loved them.Basically it was just margarine, flour,a tablespoon of treacle( yes i know sugar is bad but it wasn't much for a large batch) an egg and ginger powder. The dogs loved them the next day.

Most of my recipes are here. Tuna cake is a favourite. They'd like liver cake but I don't like what it does to their backends. Might be better now that they eat big chunks of raw liver so I'll have to try again. The cheesy ones are a favourite of mine - the dogs barely get them. I think they taste like Pepperidge Farm goldfish if you've ever run into them. Another low protein treat they get occasionally is marmite on toast. They'd do just about anything for them, or for Carrs melts. But since they're bready, fatty things those are rare treats.
