We lost our beloved old girl in February at 15 years of age, she was 3 when we adopted her from Bath Dogs Home, she was a red cocker, with a lovely temperament. We now just have her best friend a 7 year old, red and white cocker who was also a dog that someone didn't want and gave to us, when he was only 2 and had already had 2 previous homes. Both dogs have been lovely with our family and each other. Time's going on, and the hurt from the events of February is beginning to fade a bit and we feel ready to extend our doggie family again. We have experience of cockers and have had 2 other rescue dogs, however, the rescue has gone quiet and there is nothing about at the moment. Is there anyone out there that has a bitch, that would be suitable for us, we have 2 children aged 2 and 7, who are kind to our animals and respect them. I don't want a puppy as there must be someone out there who has a little bitch they can't cope with for any number of reasons, or sometimes peoples circumstances change - marriage breakups etc.
We have a nice kind home awaiting. We are located in Bristol.
