Please what are the stud book bandings for the following
breeds (only 2) i.e. what placings qualify them for the stud book.
German Shorthaired Pointer
and Lancashire Heeler

Lancashire heeler is Band A-1st in Open
GSP is Band D-1st, 2nd, 3rd in Open and 1st in Limit

Just you know what it's like when people ask and you don't know the answer..........awww shame about the Lancashire Heeler as my friend
got a first in limit and we didn't know if that got her stud book number
or not. GSP's I thought had a larger qualification banding than they have.

Now there's something I didn't know - didn't know there were 'bands', although it makes sense when I think about it. Can you let me have the info on Rough Collies, Great Danes and Griffon Bruxellois, please - although I think I know the answer for Roughs and Danes, better check my info!

Where can I find general info on bandings for the different breeds? (You're going to regret being clever, you'll be inundated with questions.)

The bands are shown in the dog press about once a year or so. You may find them on the KC site under press releases, but I haven't looked :-)

Griffon Bruxellois-band B--1st,2nd in Open
I actually e mailed the kennel club a while back for the qualification on GWPs and they sent me a really useful list with all the bands on
