my bitch always has full blown phantoms and last time i gave gallostop which worked in a week. im wondering now as i get ready for the next phantom whether to start gallostop the minute i see milk or wait till her boobs are huge again? at 50 quid a time i dont want to time it wrong! does anyone know?
Oh poor girl. Mine had a phantom 2 seasons ago, no nesting thank goodness but I did get some milk! I just reduced her food a little, increased activity, and refused to pamper her at all. Sounds like your girl is being more elaborate though! :-)
mine is horrific! we have about 6 weeks of milk everywhere and digging franticaly! she has milk for longer than when she had a litter! was going to spay her but the day i was going to phone vet she came into season 2 months early and she never has before so i have to time it right but have to live through phantom first but will use gallostop as it stopped milk in a week
In my opinion, just the normal quantity of water per day for the breed helps...do not overload your girl with water, as this helps the milk production!
