i dont know if im allowed to do this but i have a little brag if i'm allowed
my siberian husky has just completed + passed his gold citizens award!!
i thought the bronze was doable + pleased to pass that
the silver i thought was a fluke but now he has passed all expectations + passed his gold
i'm such a proud mummy
i'm now beggining to wonder if he really is a true sibe! - well he did do it though with all of his usual 'voiced' opinions!!
:)

Hey congratulations.  I don't know much about Sibes but it sounds from comments that this was no mean feat. I am working for silver with our GSD pup of 10 months but still need to do the bronze in April as our first club didn't dothe awards.

Fantastic! I don't know a lot about huskies but what I do know suggests this wasn't easy!! I keep meaning to do some more work with my Yankee and retake the Gold some time. :-)

I started with the bronze award and then got involved with ringcraft which ended up being on the same day. I'm going back as i paid to do the bronze exam. Think i may give the silver a go as i've been told they are very similar, but the gold looks difficult. I have been to to do the recall whilst stopping the pup in his tracks - not getting it... oh well i'll wait for the trainer.. Think its an amazing achievement and well done to you and your Sibe..

thanks for all your comments guys i thought i was just being super proud mum!

shadow is my clever sibes name - i think prob one of those most unsuitable names for him - i wish he really was and did behave like 'my shadow!!'

Well done!  I must admit, we didn't get past the good citizens' stage when she was a pup and when Madam's rosette arrived through the post I said, "How?"  However, she is pretty well behaved now.  Being a jack russell cross with a rather chequered background before rescue, I suppose that's understandable and it has taken us four years of getting through her rather over exhuberant personality to get there!!
