can anyone suggest how to stop my bitch chaseing her tail
I have just received her back from the "owner" and she has a habit of chasing her tail even when on the leash this is such a shame as she is gorgeous and i would like to show her (golden ret)

I've just had a peep at those links and now I'm concerned! :O
Six, our little terrier, chases her tail sometimes. However I can't think that it is boredom or lack of exersize etc. She ONLY does it when she's excited, during a game of football with our son or similar activity. Could it be a reaction to her excitement?

Nicky . I am sorry but I just dont know . Thats why I looked for the links to help guest as I saw no replies .
I assumed no one else knew either .
So thought Id find some info for myself as well . you know the need to know also thing:)
I can say though I have often had a puppy that tail chased and grew out of it .
