I'm so excited, we are picking up a 138cm Skewbald(sp) mare Monday 18 Feb. I cant wait, she is for Bronwyn but I rode her today for nearly two hrs out hacking and think she will be more my pony than anything else. She is 14 this year and a complete dream to ride, lucky Bronwyn my first pony was 13hh of pure evil right up until the day she died and her daughter isn't much better. her son is one of the nicest ponies I have ever had the pleasure of owning.

I'll look forward to the piccies, she sounds lovely - I've always been very fond of coloured horses. I know it's a bit of an old wives tale, but I see them as being gentler than solid coloured horses.

Bronwyn is driving me nuts already wanting to go up and see her tonight and plans on spending all of half term at the yard she is currently at. Poor pony is going to hate the colour pink as everything is pink, tried to point out that everything is going to need cleaning more often as pink is going to show all the dirt. I couldn't say no as I remember when I got my first pony I want everything just so and now Bronwyn is the same. She is so excited and I am the best mummy in the world according to her.

Oooooh who's a lucky girl??!!!! I have a coloured boy and my DD had a coloured pony at one point. I love them!!! Can't wait to see some piccies.

Know what you mean about the pink. DD's pony is a gelding and the poor boy has everything purple!!!! Even down to rugs!!
