Good Luck :D
Lea :)
Hi
Yes have tried it!!!!
I only lasted two weeks but lost 13 pounds
I just found it very very hard.
I was in a constat bad mood and tierd.
A couple of friends have been on it one lost 5 stone but has since put most of it back on.
Another freind has been on it for five months and has lost about 3 stone .
The main problem with it seems to be maintaining it when you have reached your ideal weight.
Forgot to add it tastes vile and can make you gag a bit plus about 30 quid a week to do.
You might find it really works for you sorry havent painted a nice picture have i.
Good luck
Thanks jojoama, it's sound lovely. I can't wait to taste it lol. I need to take drastic measures. Hopefully I won't be in too much of a bad mood. Wish me luck. xx
Good luck
Two tips
1, Keep yourself busy
2, Pretend you are eating a nice cake while having your shake lol

How weird, my freind and I were trying to remember the name just a couple nights ago.
Good Luck! I tried it many years ago and it made me ill. You really have to drink plenty of water or you de-hydrate. I joined Weight Watchers (again) yesterday and feeling really positive this time.
Well I have got all my soups and shakes for the week. I am going to have my last Chinese Take Away for a while tonight and am starting tomorrow. No more chewing food for me for at least 2 weeks.
Wish me luck. Am feeling very positive but nervous too. Just hope I have the will power.
I will let you know how I get on. First weigh in next Tuesday. Hopefully I will be slimmer by then :)

Good luck and rather you than me - I tried it years ago but was physically sick - still they may have improved the flavours since then,
Maxine
I tried years ago too. Apparently the flavours are much much better nowadays.

Hiya
I just wanted to say good luck with the diet. The flavours are good on this diet alot better than Lipotrim & Lighterlife and cheaper!.
To make the milkshakes taste nicer blend them with crushed ice. Have a lovely Chinese hehe
Kate
Thanks. The amount of last suppers I have had lol. Probably put on another stone before I start :)
Hi ya
Hows it going? whats the soups like im thinking of trying this diet too?
Well so far so goo. I started yesterday and got on the scales this morning and I had lost 4lbs. I know it is mostly water but it still made me feel good.
The soups and shakes aren't too bad at all. I was really surprised. I have so far tried the Cappuccino, Toffee and Walnut and Chocolate shakes and the Mushroom and Vegetable soups and they have been fine. I am having Butterscotch tonight later on.
Am sitting here trying to ignore the wonderful waft of spag bol (my favourite :( ) which my family are having for dinner.
I will get thin I will I will lol
> Well so far so goo.
Lol.
I know I meant good LOL but the shakes and soups are a bit gooey :)
Just thought I would let you know that I have lost 10.5lbs during my first week. I hasn't been too bad either :)
Thats fantastic well done! I might give this one a try
Can't comment on the Cambridge but it sounds similar to the Lighter Life programme which I started on Saturday - no real food just shakes / soups and bars for the next few weeks.
If it helps, I suffered really bad carb withdrawal on the first day (headache, cold, nausea, tired) but since then I have been drinking lots of water and sticking to the rules and lost 8lbs in four days!
I am aiming for 3 stone which they reckon should take 8 weeks and so far it seems to be working - I don't even feel hungry (but I could murder a curry).
Good Luck with yours - the sacrifices will be worth it!

I really wanted to try this but i can't because of diabetes insipidus. Oh well back to the carrot sticks :-)

I handle a dog for a lady who started the Cambridge Diet in October. So far she's lost over 20 kilos. She's drinking oceans of water, and only "eats" the soups. Never hungry, but never far away from a toilet either :-) According to her, she drinks so much, there is no way she'd ever have room enough in her stomach to feel hungry.
You do have to drink a lot so always feel full. I thought it would be horrific but you get used to it so quickly and there is such a variety of soups, shakes and bars. I can't say they are delicious but they aren't bad.
It also takes all the hassle out of weighing things and counting calories. You know you are allowed 3 sachets a day and that is it. It has to be very simple for me to follow it lol :)

Pah, you think you've got it bad with the water? I'm doing Lighter Life and have to drink nearly twice as much!
4 litres a day, I wanted to go to bed early last night and had to stay up cos I needed to finish my water! It is really important to drink it, I only lost 5lbs in my first week and they said it's because I didn't drink enough, so I'm not taking any chances this week!
I'm finding the diet easy (apart from the water!) there is a great forum for them (all of them, not just LL), really supportive but I probably can't link to it here! You could pm me if you'd like it? Not sure if I'm allowed to give the link that way or not.

Im another on a total food replacement, very low calorie diet..
The water is the nightmare, i slosh when i move and really do need to stay within 3 mins of a loo.. (Saturday is going to be GREAT fun, first show wiht madam and ill be the one legging it to the loo every five minutes).
Weigh in later to day so fingers x i have shifted some... tis a loooooooooooooong way to go for me to lose what i need to lose.
Good luck with your weigh in. I am sure you will do well :)

Be careful with the lighter life diet, my friend was on it and the doc told her to stop and drinking that much water in a day can drown you !!!! she is now on ww diet.

See weight thread on my view on lighter life :) :) :)
8 pints cannot drown you over the period of a day :) :)

Sorry wasnt fast enough to edit. Please read this :-
It's Not How Much You Drink, It's How Fast You Drink It!
The kidneys of a healthy adult can process fifteen liters of water a day! You are unlikely to suffer from water intoxication, even if you drink a lot of water, as long as you drink over time as opposed to intaking an enormous volume at one time. As a general guideline, most adults need about three quarts of fluid each day. Much of that water comes from food, so 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is a common recommended intake. You may need more water if the weather is very warm or very dry, if you are exercising, or if you are taking certain medications. The bottom line is this: it's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition.
