i managed to set up a webcam last night,  so i can see my girl who is in pup, should she start when my other half isnt about, or myself! also for some friends who are prospective owners to have a look when shes had the babies, but as she still has just under 3 weeks to go, i thought i would give it a test run.....ive set it on my oldies that have the run of the front of the house and upstairs when no one is in - its funny to see what they get up to!  the one i thought would be barking....is! my goldie has raided the washing basket too, i cant wait to see which one eats the post!

anyone else ever set one up to see what they get up to? im tempted to leave it on every day now just to be nosey at what they do! :-D

What a great idea.  Would love to know what my boys get up to when I am away at work or do I?

i used a site - (which i wont say cos it will be advertising!) which shows it all through the net and you have an 'address' for people to look at it. its harder to set up if you use wireless as i found this time round! i'll pm you a link to the streaming site.

i did it once with a camcorder, just left it running, it saw me proved wrong!! i assumed my older of my 2 at the time, was the one being naughty in protest to having a new puppy, as everytime i went out things were being destroyed! but upon watching the video...we saw my goldie as a 10 week pup....climb out of her pen rip up some runbbish from the bin (in jaks bed!) then climb onto a dining chair ( you couldnt see the whole thing just a little head bobbing up and down as she jumped!) then saw her laying on the dining table and chewing up some more things....before getting back into her pen and snoozing!

THAT was an insight i can tell you!

Well, if their behaviour on my days off is anything to go by, I'd be watching them change sleeping position and listening to them snore :-D
