If a puppy of 6 weeks old had slightly inverted canines , would it worry you that the Adult teeth would come thro the same?

yes the adult teeth are usually the same exactly as the baby teeth

Loads of puppies look like their canines are slightly inverted especially in medium length faced breeds.  If they were really inside I would be concerned. It is quite common for it look like that with scissor bite breeds. I have seen it often not only in my own breed and they have all had perfect mouths.

HOWEVER :-)  

There is a issue a heriditary malformation though called Base Narrow Canines I can't remember what breeds but there is one or two where it is seen more than the average , it may be Irish wolf hounds but someone will correct me.  PLEASE DO :-)

One thing I would say it if you like the pup run it on. :-)

Wolfhounds can suffer from it. I come across it far too often, and sometimes in dogs that have won well- personally I hate it as a fault but others obviously have different views or dont look. I always penalise dogs with this very severely.

OK now too your question. At 6 weeks I would not worry and it certainly would not stop me keeping the pup. It may be the bottom jaw needs to grow on, which could happen depending on breed/line. I would keep a very close eye on the mouth and if the baby canines are slow to come out (in some breeds they are dreadful to get out) and push the adult ones in, then get the baby ones out via the vet if need be.

With care and or luck you may be ok, but 6 weeks is too early to dismiss a puppy if the mouth fault is minor - and I stress monor - unless you have that problem in the line and know it will get worse rather than better.

It may be the bottom jaw needs to grow on, exactly.  I forgot to put that bit in ;-)

It is believed to be caused by a recessive gene.    

Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer, the scissor bite is perfect i just worried because the tip of the  bottom canine is not thro "the groove" and looks slightly inverted.

Nobody can promise you one way or another BUT it certainly COULD out OK. 

Dont forget too, that at 6 weeks the gums can still be swollen and teeth not quite "set"
