Do, or can, Lab puppy's tails start out skinny and develop the "otter tail" later?  Oban's tail is quite broad at the base but narrows to a skinny tip.  It seems sort of long to me too.  Both parents have the proper thick, blunt tail.

Dudley's tail was a pathetic excuse for a tail but with the years it has developed into a lovely tail :-)

Oh good.  I think the broadness is spreading downwards but it's hard to tell when I see him every day.
