i went to but one pug and ended up buying two, (not for breeding i might add) i have e-mailed the lady  several times and each time she has had a reason why she did not post them, from they might go missing in the christmass post, to her son being ill, and also that her bulldog dog lossed all her pups. yesterday i said in an e-mail to her i am wondering if they ever had pedigrees as it has been 3 months since i got the pups. and she got on her high horse saying . am i so desperate to get the pedigrees because the pups cant be bread yet . i think waiting over 3 months if reasonable, i .have not got or never had no intentions to breed my little pugs. but want the pedigrees, i paid a lot of money and she said they were kc reg. this lady has a bulldog web site and breeds bull dogs.
when i bought them she said they were 9 weeks old and thats all the details i have.i did not see the parents so i dont know if she sold them for some one else. what right do i have if any. all i have is several e-mail from her saying dont worry i have the pedigree and she will post them to me.
can any one just give me a bit of advice and not give me any greif, i have had more than my share from family and friends saying what a fool i was. so just some honest advice
thank you. the pugs buy the way are lovely . thank for any advice i might get   mary

Hi
I agree you were slightly foolish buying your puppies without seeing parents definately, most people wouldnt even consider a pup without seeing pedigree or the mother. You should send her and ebrupt email asking for her to send the pedigrees no excuses asap or you will report her to the kennel club and trading standards for false advertising saying her pups were kc when they may not be. I hope this is a lesson learnt to you, you may have some lovely puppies and without the papers you cant breed or show but your intentions were not too breed anyway.

Hope everything turns out ok for you, but remember for next time, and Pugs are gorgeous i love them sooo cute.

I hope you are having fun with your new puppies.
Please remeber a pedigree is a family tree, even a mongrel can have a pedigree. What you want are the KC's - Kennel Club registration forms.:-)

Most good breeders register their puppies at about 4 to 6 weeks so paper work is ready to go whem puppies are collected. Do you have a receipt and if so does it state KC registered pug puppy? Or a copy of the advert where you saw them for sale this is good.

Last resort but you could if you have the breeders name, affix, puppies date of birth ring the kennel club.
If you paid the price for kc registered puppy you are entitled to the paperwork.
Good Luck,
Love pugs :-)

So glad your pug babies are adorable.  IT is very unfair of this lady to not supply you with paperwork, just a stream of excuses.  If she definetly said or advertised them as KC registered then you need the KC registration forms as well as the pedigrees.  I think your best way forward would be a firm but polite letter pointing out when the pups were purchased, and stating  that you have not received the papers despit frequent requests, that you require the papers within a resaonabe timescale (eg 10 days), and that you will contact the Kennel Club & Trading Standards if they do not arrive within that time.  If the lady was actually the breeder of the pups it seems very strange that you did not get ot meet at least the Mother of the litter.  If she was selling them on behalf of someone else then you should have been advised of this, but this may make getting the paperwork a little trickier, especially if she is having trouble getting it, but does not want to admit to not being the breeder!  (sorry, have a suspicious mind).

bye
Gwen
