need to put weight on my puppy she 6 months and has 1 tray of nature diet a day 2 1/2 cup of puppy/junior large breed euk.

some said raw chicken wings will put the weight on quick.
but my only issue is that if she chewing raw meat and bone which i have no problem with, but the problem will be if she training for gundog work would she chew or mouth a live game and spoil her for the gundog work side of things,

any thing elis i can give her, never had this problem before ,she not a hypo fcr she very laid back.

Not sure about the gundog side of things, but if you didn't want to give meaty bones you could always try minced meats instead. Minced tripe worked brilliantly at building my dog up after he had been very ill and lost a lot of weight. You could also try things like cheese and pig ears.

No there are loads of gundog people who are feeding the BARF diet.  I give mine, especially Carmen etc. chicken etc and she doesn't mess about with the birds.

As has been said and I actually pm'd you the same a lot of gundog people also give tripe to bulk a dog.

I can't always get meat etc. often from my butchers and when I stop it Anton's weight goes down, he#s so much healthier on a chicken and meat diet!

Arden Grange prestige kibble is excellent too. You could try replacing the Euk with this?

Raw as it has bones in it. I get my butcher to cut it into thinish strips and normally get about ten for about a fiver :-)

Nope!  Both my GSPs are fed raw and no problems with feeding chick wings, breast of lamb, pork ribs etc etc.  However, I will skin a rabbit and not feed it in it's jacket - feel that may be tempting things too much!

Also...just to add, it was only after my bitch had her first season that she 'chunked out', despite various experiments on the food front, so it may just be a case of biding your time.
