I have bought some of this and I have to say that I am impressed, but not as much as my dogs are.  They literally snaffled it down.  It gives a basic analysis on the tin: proten 10%, fat 5.4%, moisture 75%, fibre 1% and ash 1.4% and the ingredients look reassuringly simple: lamb, rice, carrots and peas.

This is really interesting - not that I would feed canned to my dogs but it's personal opinion at the end of the day! Where did you get it from? (I'm sooooo nosey!!)

From Burns direct.  I didn't pay any postage because I also ordered a large quantity of dried food ( I do dried for breakfast and canned/home prepared for dinner).

I got some recently and the dogs love it.  Much as I dont feed canned food this smells better and the ingredients are as good if not better than the likes of naturediet and natures menu.  Love it!

On the side of the can it has got recommended amounts if you are using it with biscuits so yes, it can be used with biscuits.

Do you mean the mixer biscuits or the dry complete food?

I believe that it can be mixed with either. My pup prefers it on its own as otherwise she tends to pick at it. But when it is without the dry complete she wolfs it down. I tend to interchange. Some meals I feed the Burns moist food. Other meals she has Burns complete with added extras, whether it be tuna, sardines, pilchards, cooked minced beef, chicken or lamb. I vary the extras from day to day so that she can get a good variety of nutrients. Although I am now thinking of changing her from the Burns from the details I have read on past threads to possibly Arden Grange.

the complete food JG.

Just looked on the website....

Looks ok to me, I am sure Henry wouldn't turn his nose up at it!
